Project Manager

Display Group is seeking a Project Manager to join our exciting, growing business! As Project Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of an event from the initial planning stages through to execution and post-event wrap-up. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams to ensure the event meets client expectations, stays within budget, and runs smoothly.

Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Event Planning & Coordination
  • Achieve Timelines, Deadlines, and Budget Management
  • Team Leadership and Management
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving
  • Client Communication and Liaison
  • Event Execution and Logistics
  • Post-Event Wrap-Up, Evaluation and Reporting
  • Occasional Travel outside of Metro-Detroit


Prerequisites: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, event management, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and teams
  • Familiarity with event production tools, project management software, and budgeting tools
  • Exemplary leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, especially in high-pressure situations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and vendor coordination
  • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
