IT Support Specialist

Display Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our exciting, growing business! This candidate will assist our Information Technology team in maintaining our company systems. The ideal candidate has excellent communication, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is looking for the opportunity to grow in their role. 

Role and Responsibilities: 

• Diagnose and resolve common hardware and software problems, such as network connectivity issues, printer problems, and software installation/configuration 

• Perform basic troubleshooting steps to identify the root causes of IT issues 

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and updates of software applications on end-user devices 

• Provide basic hardware support, including setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, and peripherals 

• Assist in creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts, including password resets 

• Ensure user accounts are properly configured and secure 

• Educate end-users on security best practices and help enforce security policies 

• Report and address security incidents or breaches as they arise 

• Assist with basic network connectivity issues, such as helping users connect to Wi-Fi, VPN, or troubleshooting network-related problems 

• Train new employees on basic IT procedures and help them set up their workstations 

• Create and maintain training materials for common IT tasks 

• Stay up to date with IT trends and technologies to enhance troubleshooting skills and provide better support 


• 1-3 years of IT experience required; customer service experience preferred 

• BS in Computer Science or other related field preferred 

• Experience with MS Active Directory, MS Azure AD, MS 365 

• Background in Mobile Device Management (MDM) Platforms 

• Working knowledge of Windows OS platforms 

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds 

• Willingness to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment 

• Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and get into the details as a team player with a “get things done” proactive attitude
