Display Group is seeking a Driver to join our exciting, growing business! This candidate will work with our warehouse team to facilitate events throughout the Metro-Detroit area. The ideal candidate has excellent communication, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is looking for the opportunity to grow in their role. 

Role and Responsibilities: 

• Process outgoing rental order by loading orders accurately and efficiently 

• Process returned rental orders by unloading and inspecting for defects and damages, reporting any to the dock manager 

• Drive company vehicles to event job sites in a timely and efficient manner 

• Responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles such as cleaning of vehicles and filling vehicles with depleted tanks 

• Scan jobs out when loaded onto a truck and scan jobs back in once they are returned 

• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations, keeping the workspace clean of any contaminants or hazards 

• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize operating procedures 

Prerequisites: 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• Valid Chauffeur’s License and Medical Examiner’s Certificate required 

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience driving a box truck, 26’ preferred 

• Must be able to pass a five-panel drug screen and background check 

• Must possess a reliable form of transportation 

• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time 

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment 

• Great team attitude 

• Willingness to be flexible, work extra hours as needed 

• Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and get into the details as a team player with a “get things done” proactive attitude
