PMO Director

Display Group is seeking a PMO (Project Management Office) Director to join our exciting, growing business! As the PMO Director, this role will report to our Director of Operations and oversees a team of project managers, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a seasoned project management professional with strong leadership abilities and a track record of successful project delivery. 

Role and Responsibilities: 

Develop and implement project management strategies, allocate resources effectively across multiple projects for optimal performance, and collaborate with sales and operations management to align project goals with organizational objectives. 

• Oversee project portfolios, monitor progress, quality, and resolve escalated issues to ensure successful project delivery. 

• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers while conducting regular performance reviews and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture. 

• Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, systems, and tools. Implement best practices, ensure team adherence to PMO standards, and drive process automation and efficiency.

• Oversee project budgets, track and report on financials, and implement cost control measures. 

• Establish, monitor KPIs, report to senior management, and analyze data for improvement. 

Prerequisites: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 

• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification. 

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. 

• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and teams. 

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. 

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals. 

• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions towards improvement and innovation. 

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana).
