Display Group was contracted by China Kingway; a Shanghai based Meeting & Event company, to open first office of SAIC USA. The June 12th Birmingham event featured a red carpet entrance with custom vinyl branding on the windows. Dignitaries included Governor Rick Snyder, who not only attended the event, but also made a presentation. Display Group provided several custom built elements, including a ceremony wall with an interactive LED monitor; large dye sub-graphics stretched over custom built walls, and digitally printed product images with recessed LED lighting to highlight new products. Several of our standard rental items were incorporated into the custom design. Because of the time difference, many of the conference calls were held in the middle of the night. The entire job was designed, built and installed in only three weeks. Nice work by John Lamb for pulling this all together so quickly. Welcome SAIC USA!
